Send an enquiry through the form
Complete the enquiry form to contact BidThis. Tell us whether you are selling, buying, arranging a viewing or need an appraisal, and include the town or site where the equipment is located. If you can, add the item type, make, model, age, condition and whether the asset is running or stripped. Photos help a lot, especially for machinery that has been idle or moved.
Details that help us assist
Good details save time and help our team route your request to the right person. Asset type, location and quantity shape our advice on auction timing, viewing options and the next steps for clearance or collection.
- Company name and contact person
- Town, suburb or industrial area
- Asset list, quantity and condition
- Whether you need appraisal, selling support or buyer assistance
- Preferred dates for viewing, uplift or site access
Where we assist buyers and sellers
Our base is in Germiston, Gauteng, and we work with clients across South Africa. Common areas we support include Johannesburg East, Pretoria, Durban, Cape Town, Bloemfontein, Isando and Alberton. We also assist with multi-site dispersals and surplus stock sales for businesses that need a clean-out across more than one location.
Viewing points and site visits
If you need to inspect machinery before bidding, mention the nearest viewing point in your form. We coordinate access at the Germiston Viewing Yard, Johannesburg East Viewings, Pretoria Viewing Point, Durban Viewing Point, Cape Town Viewings, Bloemfontein Viewings, Isando Viewing Point and Alberton Viewing Point. For coastal sites, please note any humidity, rust or storage cover issues so we can advise properly.
How enquiries are handled
We handle enquiries during business hours, and urgent seller requests are prioritised where stock movement is time sensitive. During busy auction periods or public holidays, enquiry handling may be affected by higher volumes. If you are sending a full asset list, a short note about your deadline will help us prioritise the right person from our team.
- Seller onboarding and appraisals: send your asset details for review
- Buyer support and viewing queries
- Large site disposals or multiple lots: allow extra time for review
What happens after you submit the form
Once your enquiry lands with us, it is reviewed by the relevant team member, whether that is auction operations, valuation, buyer support or seller onboarding. If more information is needed, we will ask for it through the contact form details you provide. After that, we guide you on the most suitable auction route, reserve price guidance, payment clearance and collection coordination, so the process stays clear from start to finish.
